While I really dont want to see damage done to other peoples bikes, but I would love to see these "c's" loose control at 100 mph, and go head first into a wall with a helmet on (so at least they prolly get to live with the life changing injuries, massively scared and fekked from the neck down...)

Im honestly not a nasty person. I for the most part done wish ill on people. Im certainly not a violent person. But this kinda thing brings it out on me... But only on a karma level... So really it would happen out of there own stupidity.

Im glad the owner of the street triple. Prolly the most expensive bike the gang stole, got his bike back.

If I'm out in my van and I see one of these guys... Whoops.. 'He came out of nowhere officer, I swerved to avoid him
but there were two of them and I never saw the second until it was too late.' I'd leave the dent in the van as a memento.

More smart self-incrimination. By going online it's probably the only way you get the police's attention these days (besides their usual revenue raising activities).

Would it be really bad to buy some old '80s 100 mph shitter, and leave it somewhere it'll be stolen.

I'm not suggesting messing about with it to make it dangerous. the fucking things were lethal new.

I like the idea of a booby trapped bike spontaneously catching fire... IE fireball... or electrifying the rider?

A throtle that sticks open and no brake pads would make a nice bait bike. Hang around the area and as soon as they nick it and set off chase after them, they will just give it a big handfull to get away.

When 'someone' was trolling them over them over their quadrosapazed thief mate, they started sharing pictures of the exup with the intent of stealing it.

I was trying to arrange for it to be dumped at the bottom of a steep hill in bristol and then seed the location to them. Having them push a quarter ton of bike that was never going to start up a hill would have been funny as fuck.

Perfect setup for a bait bike. In America they sometimes put taser things in the seats, should be loads of room for something like that on a motorcycle.

Yawn Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

This has been happening for a few years now the Bristol post don't care. Neither do that many people in the area any more, the police have arrested them so many times and had to let them go so many times it's got beyond a joke.

There's some spectacular cases for justified castration right there. What we need now is a hero, what we need is Bristols biggest testicle thief.

This is a classic example of why we need something like the Americans' 'Three strikes and your out' legislation. A way of protecting the public from criminals who commit countless relatively minor offences. Not being quite as severe as the Yanks I'd suggest perhaps a genuine five years stir if you commit the same offence five times in five years?

I agree with Andy and am amazed why we don't have this written into law already. Two strikes would be enough for me. You get caught and arrested for the same offence twice or more and it's like carrying a gun, an automatic prison sentence. Maybe with parole after two arrests and full maximum sentence if caught three times.

I have to say all these romantic thoughts of bike baiting are going way off on a tangent. You are very weak people if you think that a thief stealing a sabotaged bike and hopefully crashing it so they end up monged, or dead is the right approach to dealing with them. Or that they might have a heart attack pushing a bike up a big hill etc.

The only way to bait these scumbags is to have some bikes waiting in the shadows for them to pinch, and have a big group of evil thugs waiting in the dark to surround them and literally smash some skulls with scaffolding bars. Putting images of dead chav o'driscol up on line with an easy way to identify the torso of the mashed up chav to all his or her mates and family is the only way to do any good IMO.
