I'm not Jewish but you missed the point. (Phnarr phnarr)

The constant friction more or less from birth will de-sensitize the nerves.
And therefore dull sexual pleasure/s.

But I'm sure it must feel raw if you do it when your 20 or 30.. 😥

Edit: Good people have suggested that religion was born in the stone age.
It has progressed little when compared to the evolution of modern society. (Mainly within the last hundred years or so.)

It is unacceptable.
The reason it is accepted is due to tradition.
And the fact that 'religion's cannot be criticised.
Unless you are a witch or into voodoo, Juju, or Aztec, Greek, Norse, Roman God worship.
The God botherers are more afraid of God than they are of looking stupid.

MVP must be out getting pished...

What scale of the barbaric rituals would I like to hate more? Hmmm...

If it did would it be more or less acceptable?

I'm curious as to why you picked this particular subject to get upset about, and what part of what I've already pointed out is not clear to you?

Don't kid yourself into believing your ranting on a motorcycle forum had anything to do with changing anything at all with the legal system.

Does circumcision stop a male from orgasming like Muslim clit mutilation does?

You do know FGM not exclusively a muslim practice nor does it exclusively involve removing the clitoris

infact Al-Azhar Supreme Council of Islamic Research, the highest religious authority in Egypt, issued a statement saying FGM/C has no basis in core Islamic law or any of its partial provisions and that it is harmful and should not be practiced.

https://www.unicef.org/media/media_40168.html

Quote:

There is no mention of FGM in the Bible. Christian missionaries in Africa were among the first to object to FGM, but Christian communities in Africa do practise it. A 2013 UNICEF report identified 17 African countries in which at least 10 percent of Christian women and girls aged 15 to 49 had undergone FGM; in Niger 55 percent of Christian women and girls had experienced it, compared with two percent of their Muslim counterparts. The only Jewish group known to have practised it are the Beta Israel of Ethiopia. Judaism requires male circumcision, but does not allow FGM. FGM is also practised by animist groups, particularly in Guinea and Mali.

but don't let the facts get in the way of a good anti muslim rant

From the BBC link: 'Practised in 30 countries in Africa and some countries in Asia and the Middle East' although my understanding is that it's mainly an African thing.

FGM is an African favourite.
That and extravagant funerals.

But the continent is still firmly in the grasp of the caveman. Even though you can buy a Rolex for 5USD at almost any set of lights you stop at. 😂

A lot of religion has hee haw to do with what is written. Since it's literal meanings are mostly vague or obscure it is a gold mine for religionist leaders to plunder for what ever meaning they see fit.
I know quite a lot about Islam and Christianity but it never fails to amaze me how many different opinions there are about something that is already centuries old.
If they were serious about religion one would like to think they'd have got it all down pat by now.
And even walked through a lot of the major beefs between themselves.

Wankers...

Yep, you see some truly disturbing shit, stuff like a kids parents dying and the village saying the kids a witch and wanting to kill them Confused The West still thinks African immigration is 'the future', as far as I can tell it's a door into the past.

The old adage 'Don't upset the witchdoctor' is still very valid in Nigeria as soon as you get out of the major cities. Quite amazing considering they have TV and internet, you would think their days were numbered but they still manage to convince the villagers of their power.

Bit like religion I suppose.

When did we stop shouting "witch kill 'em"? Wasn't it long before any technology came along?

It is religion, just a different kind.

All that oil money, and they're still thicker than a ghurka's foreskin.

2005-10 I lived next door to a family of Africans, he was a pastor and they were all very religious. One day I happened
in conversation to ask one of their many children if they had seen the Harry Potter films to which they looked shocked
and then said that they weren't allowed to as the films had "witchcraft" in them. I couldn't believe I was hearing this in
London in the 21st century. Then again many years prior to this one of my exes was a solicitor (rather unsurprisingly in East
London again) who told me about a case she was dealing with involving a family who lived in Forest Gate who thought a
good way to stop their (ill) toddler from crying was to invite the local witch doctor over (In forest gate FFS) and for him to
proceed to beat the bad spirits out of the child with a metal hoover pipe. Brain damaging the child in the process and inflicting
dozens of physical injuries. I guess that's what happens when it's mud hut one day, and inner city the next. They knew
it was out of order enough to try and lie and say the kid fell down the stairs, so cultural misunderstanding doesn't really cut it.

Witchcraft and the occult is still big business in less developed countries.
West Africa has film companies who exist just to make JuJu movies. Special Effects and all.

Witchcraft is an older religion than the God religions.
The God religions were a better sell.

Conundrum. Should we be the enlightened society, or in these instances should we just wrap these people in wire fencing with a couple of concrete blocks and drop them in the sea?
Hmm.....
