"Berlin gay penguins adopt abandoned egg
Two male penguins at Berlin Zoo have been caring for an abandoned egg since July in their long quest to become parents.
The same-sex couple, Skipper and Ping, are keen to have a chick of their own, and have even been known to "try to hatch fish and stones", spokesman Maximilian Jäger told the Berliner Zeitung newspaper.
He said the two king penguins adopted the egg, which had been abandoned by the sole female of the species at the zoo, and are "behaving like model parents, taking turns to keep the egg warm" by nestling it on their feet under a flap of belly skin.
The are now doing their best to protect their precious charge from jealous rivals, after a little encouragement from their human guardians."

Pretty sure the British empire amassed a fortune that would make Pablo Escobar blush, flooding China and India with Opium.
The haul is likely to have originated from the worlds largest opium producer and Pakistan's neighbour, Afghanistan.
Interestingly, The Taliban, who were in power at the time in the summer of 2000, outlawed the production of opium in Afghanistan, the reason being; 'It was un-islamic'. However, over a year later, they had a war to fund.

Statistically, both class A drug import and distribution gangs are many times more likely to be foreigners. Fact.  You can pretend not though, if it makes you feel all warm and cuddly about immigrants.
In fact, the vast majority of drug trafficking gangs in the UK are Jamaican, Albanian, Pakistani and Turkish. Most of the knife crime in London, now spilling into surrounding counties, is committed by black yoofs and down to Country Lines drug dealing.

Notable Pakistani gangs in the United Kingdom are often associated with the importation and distribution of heroin. Examples of Pakistani drug gangs in the United Kingdom outside of the major urban centres can be found in Bedford, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Luton, Bradford, Birmingham, Blackburn, Newcastle, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and many other major cities and areas in the North and Midlands of the United Kingdom, who’ve been linked to multiple shootings, robberies, knife attacks and murders amongst rival gangs. [[,[133] Middlesbrough[134] and Oldham.[135] Drug squad officers in 2003 claimed that Asian gangs were actively seeking to corner the heroin market.[136]
In other reports it has been suggested that Turkey replaced Pakistan and Afghanistan as the most important transit point for heroin, and it is estimated that 80% of heroin intercepted by British authorities belongs to Turkish gangs, which previously belonged to Pakistani and Afghan gangs[137] A recent spate of murders in London in 2009 have been linked to a heroin drugs war involving rival Turkish and Turkish-Kurdish gangs in north London.[138] It is believed that the feud is between two organised drug gangs, the Turkish 'Tottenham Boys'[139] and the 'Bombarcilar' or 'Bombers' from Hackney. The Bombers were led by Abdullah Babysin who was said to be Britain's largest importer of heroin, he was convicted in 2006. |

Phew, that's alright then. For a minute, I thought immigrants, mainly Pakistani Muslims, were vastly over represented in polluting this country with drugs and child sex grooming gangs.
Knowing they don't have total market dominance is such a comfort.
