Well, about 5% of syrians are christian so it's not outside of the realm of possibilities and they would be a persecuted group where the likes of IS are concerned.

It's tradition for Zlamiks to 'tollerate' infidels who don't convert to Izlam but they like to charge a tax for that spiritual leniency.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12188861/Police-close-multiple-roads-Nottingham-deal-major-incident.html

Thinking No description of the attacker except his age and gender.

Quote:
A backpack and a very large knife were taken from the van and the man was resisting arrest, the witness said

Quote:
Six roads around the city and suburbs have been shut and tram services cancelled, while ambulances, fire engines and specialist officers dressed in body armour and helmets are on the scene.

They are National inter-agency liaison officers (NILO) - part of an elite force set up in the wake of the Manchester Arena bombing.

Let's wait and see... Looks like a privately owned plumbers van to me.

Well someone has let slip some information that was obviously not something the police wanted to reveal. Rolling Eyes

“I looked out of the window and saw a black guy dressed all in black with a hood and rucksack grappling with some people. It was a girl, and a man or boy she was with – they looked quite young.

“She was screaming ‘Help!’ I just wish I’d shouted something out of the window to unnerve the assailant.

“I saw him stab the lad first and then the woman. It was repeated stabbing – four or five times. The lad collapsed in the middle of the road.

Sounds much more like gang related than religion.

Anyway, as an aside...

Do these people harbour the misapprehension they aren't going to be caught? Do they think they are going to be let off by the courts. Of course I understand the religious zealots probably regard what happens as gods will but kids who go out with knivse with the intention of stabbing people are going down for many years even in todays liberal society.

We not long ago had the funeral in Bletchley for a pikey who was going down for a very long period for various offences who topped himself rather than spend most of the rest of his life in jail. I think I'd feel the same.

Utter lunacy.

Article has been updated since my first read, deliberately excluding details because "Duh-versity is our strength™". Rolling Eyes
Black was my first guess when they said resisting arrest, tell me a time when they don't. Truth is, they're just as happy
in prison. 3 square meals a day, no bills, jungle rules, a huge pre made gang of their own kind inside, especially the
moozers, away from nagging baby mamas etc. Prison suits their temperament and let's be honest here they
are rarely in there for long regardless how bad the crimes committed. It's like a holiday from the few responsibilities
they do have. They have phones, booze and drugs inside as well as playstations and internet access, pretty much
the main cornerstones of my life out here as a free man but without the council tax. They lose their right to vote but
that's no biggie, it's a waste of time anyway and ironically they represent in person the exact reason why that's
the case.

Prison still for those of us that are somewhat civilised (this is BCF after all) seems like a living nightmare but when
you're a caveman then honestly they are like holiday camps. Where you're fed enough to come out twice the
size you went in after several years of daily weight training and the odd fight here and there. This makes them all
the more intimidating when they come out (which is their currency) and more dangerous and difficult to apprehend
next time they fall foul of the law and they certainly will. Millions wasted on alleged rehabilitation while they are in there
given by wooly humanitarian do gooders and most are still up to their old tricks within months of release. Fuck their
human rights, they should be on a starvation diet so they come out weaker and less of a threat. 23 hour lockdown
too. It should feel like a punishment, not Butlins.

Flogging's too good for them, etc. Rolling Eyes

Worth bearing in mind that one definition of criminality is the inability to delay short term gratification for long term prosperity coupled with poor assessment of risk. tl;dr these people don't care if they get caught, it never enters their mind. They're either outright cycle paths or at least sociopaths (if one applies the term as displaying psychopathic behaviours due to socio-economic factors rather than from an inherent mental defect.)

Depends what you want. If you want lower rates of recidivism then prisons should be secure units dedicated to addiction recovery, mental health treatment, education... at very least impulse control training. That all sounds very expensive and worse, achievable Shocked

Name something the State has done a really good job of in the last I dunno 50 years. I'll wait.

According to the latest little snippet that we're being drip-fed, the van was stolen from one of the victims.

Maybe this just shows we've been wasting with religious bigotry when simple racism would have sufficed Laughing

Seems to me this was a racist job rather than a religious one for a change. Not that anyone in the media will
call it that. If I were to go out to St Pauls and flatten a few Somalis in my Transit it would be called that the moment it
hit the headlines whether it was true or not. More details emerging about Mr Stabby babby that suggest his Christianity
may not be genuine. Colour me shocked.

Coulter's law. I particularly liked the guy filming a bit of scaffolding, then when asked for a description of the attacker said he couldn't see Rolling Eyes
