France only knows how to yield... Their national pastime.

I'm surprised that's even newsworthy these days. "1 dead, 4 wounded in knife attack", or, as it's called in Lahndan, 'Friday night.'

Anyone want to have a stab at making the first joke about the latest Paris snackbar?

New US mosque bars wamen, while in Indonesia they're fully engaged in spreading the peace (and pieces).

Can we apply a value judgement to an ideology that brainwashes an entire family, including 9 and 12 year old girls, into blowing themselves up?

I'd like to. I really would.

The biggest joke is that it's what Paris overwhelmingly voted for. Congratulations and let's hope you enjoy the fruits of diversity for many more years to come.

And another family trip to allan's snackbar in Indonesia.

#ntdwi, clearly a problem with motorscooterists.

Crikey, this is just the amuse-bouche before ramadan kicks off tomorrow. Pale

Yep, a nice, family night out at the movies is just the tonic from all that blowing stuff up.

Good Thursday and a very Happy Ramdan, especially to my beloved Islamic nation. Let's follow the real footstep of beloved holy Prophet Mahomet and get the real success in both worlds.

Al Beeb has some top tips for this most specialist time of year, including: brush your teeth with a twig because 6th century hygiene is beloved by Allan; don't drink the magic water; and you can buy your staircase to heaven for just £150, payable in easy daily instalments.

My own mantra is: avoid the minicabs.

Belgian waffle stomp at Allan's Snackbar.

Interesting to watch Al Beeb's narrative change.

Initially they ran it as the the RoPist "gunned down" two cops. Guns are baaaad, m'kay, gun control is gooood, trust the State to protect you.

Then it turns out that the RoPist went stabby on two femcops and took their shooters. Oh, they'll be triggered by that story, but they won't be able to suppress it indefinitely.

They're currently still running with "The man's motive is not yet clear", while very grudgingly admitting that "the incident is being treated as terrorism".

Do you think? What was he shouting? Happy Easter?

Anyway, just released for drug offences, might have been radicalised in prison.

Mental issues, reefer fiend, prison isn't the answer, I blame colonial patriarchal Christian society, and so on, and so forth. All the usual hand-wringing and self guilt.

Police sources quoted in local media said the man was heard shouting "Allahu Akbar" ("God is greatest" in Arabic)

I thought it meant God is great, not God is greatest. That would suggest there are other gods, of which this is greatest of

The clear meaning from its historical usage is "Our god is the greatest. Die, infidel, die."

Oh, splendid, the snackbarista is one "Benjamin Herman".

It's not race, its not culture, it's not geography, it's #ntdw the ideology.

We cannot keep importing this ideology. We cannot fix it through education, even if it spoke the same language, or cared what we thought of it.

Thinking that we can nurture it away once it's been inculcated in the cradle is insane. Literally suicidally insane.

If merely being exposed to progressive European culture could cure extremism, then explain Tommy Robinson. Explain the 52% of the UK who are literally Hitler.

Let me get this straight.

A pair of female cops carrying guns and allegedly trained in their use were overpowered by a man in a dress,
wearing flip flops, who only had a knife and no training with said knife. Instantly turning him into a man in dress and wearing
flip flops with a knife and now also two guns, leaving them dead as dead can be. This man was only stopped when some men
carrying guns and trained in their use came along and shot him. It's pretty clear what needs banning here.

It sounds like he flip-flopped up behind them and went surprise stabby-frenzy.

I'm not aware that men have armoured backs - you may be thinking of turtles.

Two women would be talking bollocks and not paying attention to anything not on twitter or snapchat. Two blokes would be eyeing up birds - consequently they would have spotted the dress at the very least. Wink

If only they'd had a chance to use their superior non-violent conflict de-escalation skills on the frothing murderous zealot. Sad

Or if only there had been a third femcop there to... no, they still lose.

Reality, why you gots to be so racist against the femcops? Crying or Very sad

In fairness, it was el femcop that dropped 4 alans by herself after the Spanish snackbar.

Poor girls, regardless of how it went down.

I think it's clear what needs banning, and it's not nessecarily PC Doris. But shhhhh...the elephant is fasting.

There's another topic. I do wonder what the thought process is behind aunties breaking news pushed headlines. 3 people murdered during snackbar in country less than 3 hours away by train? Not of interest. Tv woman not a tv woman any more on the other side of the Atlantic?OMG!!!!11!1!.

I've been woken up at 3am to be told of some non celeb death but useful stuff seems to pass them by so often it can't be a mistake.

Good Friday principles behind reporting in this, the holiest of months?
