? Answer the question. If ISIS has been around since the late nineties, and allegedly responsible for Islamic terrorism, then why even as recently as the Lee Rigby murder (in 2013) was there no mention of them?

You seem to think that there is only one terrorist group that proclaims it is acting in the name of Islam.

Just search for info on the killers of Lee Rigby. It's not unheard of for people to switch allegiance to what they deem winning sides, or those with a better chance of it.

It's a little more than semantics when politicians decide to rewrite history, and act as if ISIS has been responsible for all islamic terrorism as a justification to go to war.

None of that was even my main point, no (successful) UK attacks, even grand theft bridge guy has been attributed to ISIS. So that's 0 frags on UK soil. That 90 people figure will be general islamic terrorism and the tail-end of the IRA's efforts... which's still going on (in Ireland obviously) but not to the same extreme as before (at least on the mainland).
