Good evening all,

i have a strange issue with my 2011 CBF125, the indicators will sometimes not turn on, i have noticed that when the engine is off but the electrics turned on, they will work fine. yet every 1 out of 3 or so times they will not turn on no matter how many times i attempt to switch them on (either side) the indicator light does not blink either.

i have had it in gear with the engine on stationary and noticed that they seem to attempt to turn on, the indicator dash light half switches on yet fails.

the relay does make quite a noise when turning the indicators on even when working, i'm not sure if this is related or is supposed to happen.

Thanks all

The first thing to check is the battery, if it's a wet type ,check the fluid level.
The next thing is to check the voltage with a multi meter to try to ascertain it's condition.

I have noticed quite a substantial amount of headlight flicker when ticking over, may have to get the battery looked at then.
