I'm used to the suspension feeling mega stiff compared to my previous bikes, but I'm always launched forward out of the seat and over the tank under hard acceleration when there's a decent sized dip in the road or some kind of sudden elevation. Inb4 grip tank with knees.

Is my rebound too high? Not sure how these things come stock, but I haven't touched my suspension at all.

Can anyone recommend a suspension setup place? Was looking at 'bn race science' as recommended by a mate but its 90 quid. Dunno how much these things cost.

Was having a cheeky off the lights sesh with my mate the other day and had to quickly let off the throttle cause we hit a dip in the road and I nearly went arse over tit.

What ever motorcycle it is, find the pdf service manual and set the suspension all to stock, before you go and waste your money on any specialist. If I got a £ everytime I just put the suspension of a motorcycle to stock (using the service manual) fixing the issue, I'd have, well about £4. Smile

This is a good read:

You can setup suspension on your own, but its a lot easier and quicker with a mate.

Take it to a specialist if you can't get it working ok.

After setting preload + sag front / rear (circa 25mm front and 35mm rear sag). I've found good mileage in removing all damping and seeing how that feels. Then putting max damping on. Then going to the "comfort" setting in the manual. Often found this still too hard and backed it out 2-3 clicks from there.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
