HI all

Bought a sidestand for my H100. Sidestand was never am option in UK, but was in other markets and the MB100 which is just a renamed bike. Checked part number of MB100 sidestand, and it was same as CG125, so bought a CG125 sidestand. If that makes sense.

Only thing is can't work out how to fit the damn thing for I'm feeling really thick (this happens a lot) - anyone got a picture close-up of a CG sidestand or something?

Thanks

Let me try to help. I have CG125. It does not have sidestand!b Years ago, I owned an earlier Cg125, and it had one. On the Cg, the footrests are mounted on a bar which bolts on to the bottom of the engine crankcase. On early models, the sidestand fitted onto a lug on the aforesaid bar, inboard of the left footrest. Later models do not have this lug. If your bike has this footrest mounting bar but no lug, you need an early model CG footrest assembly. Check that the number of fixing bolts. and their size and spacing are the same. Hope this helps.

That makes more sense. I've got a funny feeling I just don't have the lug. It's been such a weird affair as when looking at the MB100 part diagrams on CMSNL, it's all identical to the ones for the H100, yet when you go to look for the sidestand on their parts list, it simply isn't there. Lol.

Ive got a H100-SG, so the model before yours (88 mine is...pretty much the same though i think) and i think youd have to change the foot rest bar as said, i cant remember there being any spare brackets when i've been looking at mine.

Awesome bikes though, love mine! I think if you wanna mess with it the MB100 after market expansion chambers are a good place to start. Think Athena do a 125 kit aswell, i fancied one for mine but its to nice to mess with....

I had to change the foot rest on my CG125. There's a little lug on the left hand side to attach the sidestand to. The chinese foot rest bars are like cheese though so I bought a genuine Honda one (the international models had side stands, the UK one's didn't because there was no cut out switch.

Thanks guys, I suppose I will have to check out the CG foot peg bar thingy. I'm trying to fit a sidestand because the original centre stand is absolutely knackered and not cheap!

It's so much more convenient than just having a centre stand!

Absolutely... This is the first time I haven't had a side stand and it's a nightmare!

Yes, it is a different footrest bar. I have one like this on mine I think (hence knowing it is a cg stand is nice to know)

All the best

Bit of a delay but I'm starting to like mine too... We've had a few disagreements electrically but that's all sorted now and it's brilliant. On the subject of bits... Check out www.50cc.eu they've got a section for H100 tuning parts, so far the only place I've found!

Enjoy
