The project bike got a full stip down and clean of the carbs today after standing for 18 months and refusing to even fire.
No parts required except 2 cans of carb cleaner and some effort. Biggest problem was dealing with the chewed up screws left by some muppet that should never be anywhere near a bike.

Thanks.
Now I know it runs ok the full strip and rebuild from frame up can begin.
I want to replace all the bearing and seals plus cables etc so may as well take it all about and give frame a new coat of paint etc.
Should look show room condition when finished. Plan is back on road for end of May.
