Does anyone know how to find a Honda paint code? It's for the frame of a NSR 125! It's a gold colour, the code under the seat is only for the panels which are black.

I tried ringing my local Honda dealership but they didn't seem to have a clue.

The paint code will be on a lable somewhere on the bike, under the seat, or hidden behind a side panel etc.

Look for a bar code on the bike stickers, it might be on it, it probably won't tell you its a paint code but the numbers should be there. For my cb125f I just googled touch up pens and got the code that way as I was too lazy to look for the sticker.

I have looked under the seat and the only code is for black!! There are no other codes anywhere! The bike is stripped to a frame so can't really look any further!!

Any ideas? Should this be available in a can? How do I find out what the colour is? Should a local paint shop be able to tell me the colour?

Try Halfords' paint-mixing service in-store. They don't advertise for bikes but if you ask at the counter they can find the codes. I had an aerosol of Kawasaki '99 lime green made there.

Try searching the list here for Gold, and then use Google on any matches to see what you can find.
