Posted: 20:48 - 18 Feb 2017 Post subject: Engine running really hot? |
So I made a post some time ago about my CRF450X not starting, got it started in the end but now having other problems.
I leave the bike to warm up on the choke until it will idle without the choke, so then when I turn the engine off the coolant is at boiling point... not sure why this is. Changed the coolant with Engine Ice but the problem is still here. I haven't noticed a loss of coolant so I don't think it's the head gasket or anything to do with the hoses (Splits/Leaks). When I filled up the coolant I filled it from the top of the radiator even know it said not to in the booklet but I couldn't find where else to fill it from
What could it be making my engine run this hot? thanks! |
