Been struggling to find the cause of my misfire on my Bandit for ages now.

After the bike got a "proper" soaking on tuesday night, it ran with a constant misfire.

Got up late today an rushed out without checking the bike an its still misfiring.

Checking the headers (spit test) found which one was dead, pulled the plug out an it was soaking wet with water, not fuel

had a poke around the drainage hole underneath where the header pipe goes into the engine an nothing poured out etc. I stuck an airline onto the drain hole an a dribble of water came out of the top of the plug recess - so guess the drain isnt blocked?

Dried the plug out an it started no problems.

Any ideas how i can stop it?

Tl:Dr - water getting onto plugs how do i stop it on a bandit?

I've tried speaking to the big fella upstairs but he keeps making it rain.

Leaving the bike undercover helps, but as soon as you go out in the the spray/ rain it dies again

its getting right on my tits it is

Did you check the condition of the other plugs? if they are just as damp, i would be suspecting the ht lead rather than the wetness of the plug being the cause.
