2005 Aprilia mx 125

The lights have started to flicker at idle and when you rev it the lights get brighter stop flickering then go back to dim/flickering after a few seconds.

I have fitted a new battery as well as a switch to cut of the circuit when the bike is not running in case something is draining the battery but it still does it.

Could it be the stator or rectifier breaking down?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Wouldn't this have been relevant information to put on your first post?

I'm therefore unilaterally declaring you a cunt and have given you karma appropriately.

The bike had a H4 bulb in it before 12v/55w and the lights never flickered, i put the kit on it which says its 12v/55w, 3 weeks after fitting the kit the lights start flickering.

If it was the kit i would have thought the problem would have started straight away not 3 weeks down the line.

Either way my bad for not mentioning it the first place.

Maybe took 3 weeks to drain your battery.
