Perhaps if the please had any idea of the laws they were employed to enforce, folk would have a bit more respect.

Every police patrol, ambulance or (sweet irony) fire appliance needs to be accompanied by a water cannon vehicle?

Because we're not talking about the big set piece riots, but about the constant low grade day-after-day-after-day guerilla insurgency being carried out by the ghetto natives against the symbols of the State that provides for them.

Don't assume the SOA 2003 is black and white (fnarr) on the subject.

SOA says:

(1)A person (A) commits an offence if—

(a)he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis,

(b)B does not consent to the penetration, and

(c)A does not reasonably believe that B consents.

I was searching for the French law on it, but struggling. But if that's what they say it is, that's what it is.
