I've ridden both. Rode a 2012 ER6N daily for about 3 months as a courtesy bike and owned a 2012 GSR750 for about a year.

For me and the purpose for which I ride (commutes in and out of the city) I prefer the ER6. Compared to the ER6, the GSR was a nicer bike to look at, but a tad snatchy and not too great at low speed filtering, felt heavy and cumbersome.

Worth noting that I sold the GSR to get a supersport, no other reason. So had I not had a hankering for a SS bike I'd probably still be on the GSR.

Gsr is 600, 750 much different.
Wife has 2013 er6n and didn't like wider bars of my gsr750. Hornet and er6 have similar riding position. 3k should get you a 2012 onward 6n(private). (Mrs k tried a bonneville 1200 and was offered 3k p/x for her 10k mileage average er6.)
Gsr 600 was a good fun bike, but missed the bandit kudos.

Cheers guys.

I'm going to look at a 2007 Suzuki SV650 at a dealer with 12k miles on it this weekend (hopefully).

Fitted with Heated Grips/Yoshimura can /Mirror Extenders/Rear Hugger/Single seat cowl

£2,295

Quite like the look of it, seems to be well reviewed - what do you guys think?

The pictures don't make it look very clean, but if it is clean, then I'd say that's a half decent price.
