Has anyone else ordered/contemplated getting one of these? I was reading reviews on the new Zelda game earlier and it sounds pretty amazing..

Awaiting a detailed review from a mate who just received his before parting with my pennies.

Missus is a big Nintendo fan but has no interest both due to the cost and the lack of games (and incompatibility with all previous Nintendo systems both Wii and 3DS) so she's getting a WiiU instead.

It's basically on overpriced NVidia shield with fancy controllers and 1 game. Even the TV adverts are terrible - £280 to play at milking a cow and 26 other mini games.

More rehashes of rehashes again game wise, Nintendo really need to do more than just Mario and fucking zelda over and over.

Seems a bit of a pointless system altogether and the controllers look seriously uncomfortable

Hmm, on the Xbox One the exclusive games are fine, Forza 6's the only racing game (I'm aware of) that runs at 1080/60fps, but then with titles such as F1 2015 you get tearing (at 900p).

Yep, Forza just like Gran Turismo games always ran at 60fps (even the PSP version was 60fps). They actually made many compromises to run the GT games at 60fps regardless of the system.

The price of the games helped me decide not to buy a Switch.
I bought a Wii U when they first came out, hardly ever got used, at least these days the Wiiu can be cracked to run copies, including Breath of the Wild.

I've been thinking of getting a PS4 purely for Uncharted. Seen a couple going on local selling pages for just over £100, but I'm not prepared to buy one off somebody's doorstep without knowing it works.

I wanted a PS4 for The Last of Us, so bought a Pro.

Also Bloodborne, and any other future exclusives I feel like playing

Currently playing Fallout 4. Did have it for the PC, but it triggered nausea for me when playing. Not a problem on the Playstation.

I hate that I can't trust PC multiplayer anymore, so many cheats

Looking to get a Scorpio later this year (or whenever they are released). Never owned any of the xboxes before.

But the Switch... Nothing there to compel me to buy. Like I said Zelda can run on a cracked Wii U. Not gonna fork out £300+ for 1 game that I want to play.

With Xbox exclusives such as Forza and Gears of War coming out on Win10, it really is a small amount of titles. I'd quite like to play GT Sport when it comes out, but also due to having an incompatible wheel (Thrustmaster sell the same wheel with either Playstation or Xbox One compatibility ) I don't think I'll bother.

Xbox is really dead to me, the idea of getting it is. It was a DirectXbox (PC ports) all these years, but still had some exclusives worth playing. Now Microsoft releasing these exclusive games on W10 makes me question their intentions.

PS4 vs PS4 Pro, the price difference is negligeable. Yet again, I do not quite understand the ''Pro'' version, this early in the PS4 lifetime. Checking the youbook the ''Pro'' performs even worse in most of the games @ 1080p than the original PS4.

The PS4 today makes sense for people who never got the PS3. With all the remastered games, there is a plenty to play, for now. But the game releases are very slow and sporadic. I know games today take a bit more time to design and program, but still.

My only ''rant'' at PS4 would be the cooling system of the console and the first gen. controllers. The PS4 is loud, all the time, some games turning it red hot. The first gen. controllers were crap (sticking and creaking buttons, poor build quality). The 2nd. gen. controllers are just spot on. I still do not like the need for the light on it though.

Also, sometimes it feels like Sony/game developers just don't give a feck about what games they release. Dropping frame rate of triple A games is one of those things that I do not understand nor enjoy.
