Hi! I think my front fork springs may have reached the limit of allowable wear. My problem is - if I renew them, will it help the fluid to stay in, i.e. not pass the seals? Cheers,

Why would your fork springs affect oil leaking out of the forks? Are you sure you don't mean fork seals? If you're having the fork seals done, then get the bushes done at the same time.

Oil in the forks slows or damps the action of the forks down, so if seals fail resulting in leakage of oil the forks will bottom out

If you do your springs, then you may as well do the seals at the same time.

As part of this work, the oil will be renewed as well and that's basically an entire fork rebuild.

I must say though, I've never heard of fork springs wearing.

My guess would be you just need to do seals and oil.
