Any budget for this comfortable bike?
Or are you happy with recommendations for bikes you can't afford?

New/ish MT125 then new/ish Ninja 300 both suggest that OP isn't strapped for cash.

Near a month with no activity suggests OP isn't that interested.

He wasn't that interested in the advice he got last time, which was to get and restrict a 600+ bike rather than a 300 since he had under a year to go until full A.

I agree that he doesn't appear to be counting every penny but a new baby ninja isn't quite the same league as a new Tiger Explorer etc. so I thought it worth asking.

Although he has probably lost interest, as it does look like he was really just looking confirmation on a decision he'd already made... like many others that ask this type of question.

first thought was new rider tense as heck causing half the pain and groaning.

i've a shitty back, and i've found my zzr to be armchair comfortable over time, regardless of length of stint.

another bike i found comfortable was ye olde yamaha fj1200...

depends what folk are looking for i guess... times have moved on and theres lots of very modern bikes for decent prices these days.

See also V-Strom 650 or 1000, Triumph Tiger, Versys, Tracers, all worth checking out.

At 6'6" this is basically my wish list.

If you've got long legs, I'd (quite seriously) suggest putting a pad on the seat.

Slightly longer than normal but only just - 36" inside leg. My back, however, is very long so any degree of bent over for a normal person is worse for me. The more upright the ride the better for me.
