No MOT, I take it? Unwanted? I'd be cheeky and offer £500 to take it away. I'd even do them a favour and clear any extra bits out of the garage.

The worst they can say is "Do me a favour," and start haggling from that anchor point. Actually the worst they can do is stab you in the eye and teabag your corpse, but let's stay positive.

It's worth the best offer that it actually gets, which eBay suggests could be anything from £600 to £1400 depending on how drunk or desperate the bidder was. I'd probably go to a grand for it if it's in decent nick and I couldn't find anything better.

Remember though that insurers seem to be getting keen on adding a clause saying that it won't be covered unless it has an MOT. Figuring out how to get one isn't their problem.

Got a copy of the clause wording? Be interested to see it and might be able to get said company to see some sense.

mind you he manages to keep a wr125 outside his house with no more then a disc lock in one of the dodgiest areas around here

I believe it's in one of my five policies, but not in the first three that I've read.

wouldn't worry too much as still has mot till July anyway

is a 14 plate so will be first mot Thumbs Up

he has gone in with a 900 quid offer

looks tidy to be fair as been garaged

they took it out for a few rides but decided riding wasn't for them

when I said less then 4000 miles (which in my defence is what I was told ) I didn't realise it was really only 400 miles
Shocked Shocked Shocked
