I've seen the pics of their bikes online, even a chump can tell they are lash ups, badly maintained, miscoloured panels or wheels etc... now I've found out they offer their own finance you know they are basically the biking equivalent of Sub Prime mortgages. "Ten bazillion percent APR, and when you can't pay we'll send in Mr Friendly Bailiff!"

Would not touch with bargepole. Plus, you can't ride yet, and when you get vast compoz from the reversing incident, you'll be able to buy private sale bikes with all your cash so that leads to one simple and definitive question.

Push for an interim payout based upon hardship.

Did you do the maths on this btw?

£560
+£298
+99
+(£258x60)

= a grand total of £16437.

issues currently in my life:

i cannot afford to go private
her insurance are dragging their feet, i suspect they will drag it out to the 3 months before i can take it to court as they took it to the 21 days to acknowledge reciept of the claim against them

nhs are dragging their heels as it took 3 months to get seen by kings in london who did an x-ray and said come back in 3 months and we will see if its healed.

i can walk, i can "ride" within reason for a few miles with moderate pain, my bike is broken, i cannot work to fund said broken bike...

so im currently in limbo (irony) sitting here twiddling my thumbs whilst things fall apart around me lols

And a gixxer on finance will fix all that? Smile I'd honestly be scared of riding with a fragile spine, and depending on the pain/what brings it on, I doubt a sports bike would help. That's coming from someone with a chronic back problem.

You're in limbo and you can't earn, yet you want to take out finance from some blood sucking loan company?

hence the question about the costs, the vtr is becoming a money pit, i can easily afford the monthly payments without a doubt, but at £50 a head gasket, new head with a rebuild (again) and finding out what this tapping sound is, its not worth it...

i cant give the nhs £10k+ for surgery

A quick fiddle with an online calculator works that out as 9.31% APR which is pretty damn high.

To be fair that's cheaper than most main manufacturers interest rates on new bikes.

However you can currently get a personal loan for just over 3%.

That's on normal finance, but PCP is all about the monthly. Plus a new bike you're buying peace of mind and a warranty.

Bought my Striple through Superbike Factory. I found them to be very helpful to be honest. The sales person was great. He offered a sensible price for my old bike in p/ex and sent over a load of high quality pics of the Striple. It looked great on the pics, 1 owner, full history etc. They did a deal on the bike, waved the admin fee (I'd never pay that) and delivered the bike to me for free.

The delivery was on the day and time specified and the bike looked a million dollars. After thoroughly checking it over I called them and paid the rest of the monies. They were extremely thorough checking over my p/ex. I didn't mind, thought it was a good thing. Chatted to the delivery driver for a bit, nice chap but rides cruisers so probably partial to swallowing sausage.

Few days later I got a call, making sure I was pleased etc.

All in all I thought it was great. Not perfect, I would have liked a service and 12 months MOT, but as I said it was cheapest online so couldn't complain too much.

I certainly wouldn't be put off using them again!

I should add that I work in the motor trade so the last thing I want is a bus man's holiday!

I don't understand this. You can't work and want to finance a bike? How are you planning to make the payments for this considering you're a cabbage?
