Hello all!
I'm tentatively planning a long weekend on the IoW on my little SV650 (money dependent) & was generally just looking for spots you guys may have visited/stayed at, mainly B&Bs or cheap hotels.
Also which ferry company would you use?
Many thanks in advance. |

Not a hotel, but I did once stay at a great campsite - https://www.heathfieldcamping.co.uk/ - that is motorcycle friendly and has an area for 'non-car' campers that has picnic tables / benches. ____________________ Triumph Sprint ST 1050. And it's Red. |

Did a weekend over there on the bike in 2015.
Not sure regards Hotel's/BnB's, but if you consider camping I'd recommend the Whitecliff Bay holiday park we used - had everything you could need for reasonable prices when we went and quite near a decent beach and shops etc.
I've only ever used the Wightlink ferrie's, but they're usually fairly decent value and easy to get to and from with.
I wouldn't say its particularly great riding roads, particularly if its a busy day tourist wise, you aren't going to be getting much of a blast in most area's, but its reasonable for pottering around and checking out the sights and views along the way.
