I Just purchased a Suzuki 2013 GSR750 which has been mainly used for commuting miles. It was a private sale.

I viewed the bike and the guy drove about 10 miles to my house to deliver.

The guy says the bikes not been used for 4/5 months and it was a bit mucky so i gave it a wash.

I popped the bike in the garage and left it to run for about 7/8 minutes just ticking over so that it would heat up and dry the bike off a bit.

I walked back in the garage and the bike was overflowing loads of coolant (1 litre) from the coolant bottle at the bottom left near the gear shifter.

I turned the bike off and let it cool down. The coolant level actually seems to be a the correct level even though its leaked 1 litre out?

I rand the bike again for a few minutes and watched the temperature gauge which is a bar system and not an exact number so you don't know the exact temperature. It got to its limit on the bar system and the fan had not clicked in but the coolant was not overflowing.

I turned the bike off to avoid damaging it obviously.

Any ideas on what the issue could be?

I looked for a workshop manual but could not find one. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Could it be a fan fuse? Fan is broken or maybe a thermostat? I don't get any warning lights or error codes.

Thanks Ian
