|
|
Ok, in the grand scheme of things, this is a pretty lame show & tell, but after getting my CG on the road and with a full 12 month ticket, i thought i'd try and smarten up the bodywork
So the option i had available are either paint it or wrap it, and sice i'm shit at painting, and half decent at wrapping, thought id chuck £15 at a meter of gloss carbon fibre vinyl wrap, and see which bits i could manage to wrap
Turns out it was pretty much all of it, except of course the tank (far too complex a shape to wrap
Turned out alright i reckon

Editing photographs tip.
In lightroom under the "Develop" tab there's multiple sections on the right hand side. Find the one that says "Lens Correction" and check the middle one "Remove Chromatic Aberration" and that, for the most part, will remove the unwanted colour you see in the photographs. For example the green on the brake lever in the first photo and then the green in the 3rd/4th on top of the garage.
Also enable profile correction, I always do. Small adjustments make big difference. This section offers the most basic but most important corrections to a photograph before you even start to move adjustment sliders. Apply adjustments here before cropping a photo otherwise it will just go back to uncropped full size. First step in the editing process.
Doesn't really matter for photographs on here but since you've got a Semi-Pro DSLR it's worth knowing.

Edit: Just seen the other photographs you already know, my bad. ____________________ The do it all, T̶h̶e̶ ̶b̶r̶o̶k̶e̶n̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶,̶ ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶b̶i̶g̶ ̶l̶u̶m̶p̶,̶ ̶C̶h̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶N̶o̶o̶d̶l̶e̶ |

I would have been interested to see how it compares with the carbon-effect hydro-dip I've had done on mine, but the light isn't great in your shots. Can you get something in the sunlight?
The gold tinge in this photo is the ambient light, but think it shows the actual carbon effect quite well:
