I just had a haircut

And my helmet does not fit anymore. My hair is not straight- it's curly and it grows out. It was super big like Simoncelli- alright not that big- half the length of Simoncelli- but I bought a medium HJC and it was super super tight and snug. Decided to cut my wonderful locks and become a Rossi skinhead and now it's super super loose- should I buy another's one to suit short hair? Or buy one when grown somewhere in the middle- It will never be longer than it just was before the haircut.

surely me and Wongo can't be the only ones who've experienced this- surely you could imagine this- the helmet fitment is arguably more important than the quality of the helmet- there's not a huge amount of space between any bald head and a helmet even when you put on one that's two or three sizes too big- squashing in a chunk of that kind of hair (not ginger for Ste's sake) takes up a lot more than that space and makes it tight.
I just found it remarkable that this is never discussed when choosing a helmet. I guess most of you have straight hair as do most people in the UK so are finding it a little ridiculous since your hair just gets longer in strands but just lies flat so have a helmet size for life.

Edit: I know really I will need two or three helmets for what style I have-didn't really need to ask for advice- the thread was more to gauge people's views of this issue and clearly it seems most see it as a non-important one- neither did I until yesterday
