Hi all.

Yep that little orange block is causing me problems again, temporary fixes aren't working any more, cut out on me on way home I managed to bodge it to get me home using brute strength and my bike key. Lesson learnt should carry tools I know. There was a thread a while ago about cutting the wires and connecting them back together permanently. Is it just a case of connecting same colour wires together or do I need to earth of frame. Electrics aren't my strong point so dumb it down please.
Cheers
Terry

Standard approach is to add an earth point while you're in there.

I can't remember if the Fi had the recall done for the wiring loom, I know the 'A' model VTEC (02-06) did and that sorted the earth block out. Worth chucking your VIN in to find out if it's eligible.

No recall needed. Never mind ill grab a soldering iron and melt them all together and put an earth point to frame
