Following on from this thread where I got a free game and this thead this thread where I got a free trolley and ramps.

I had another one recently.

In December I ordered a 4tb HDD from eBay, it arrived but was DOA, I sent it back to the seller and recieved a refund no trouble. I bought another drive from Amazon and forgot all about it. Last week I had a card through the door from the post office. It's the same drive back. Confused Confused I look at the package and it has written on it 'Not collected from DO' then an arrow to my address in the sender part of the label. The guy must have not bothered to pick it up from the Post Office. 3 months later they send it back.

I figure I'll bin the drive and I'm a bit miffed about having to go to the Post Office to collect scrap. At some point I figure I might as well check to see if it has any warranty. I check on the WD website and it still has warranty, I figure I'll try to RMA it and it was accepted free 4tb hard drive Cool

What have you had for free recently?

£60 of Amazon vouchers. I ordered a sim card from BT and claimed the vouchers, never got them in the time they stated, so I chased it up. Received them and then another set came (£120 in total) Dance!

I'm not blasé about it, and acknowledge that I am in a position of privilege when others are struggling.

At work I received an ancient dial-type micrometer and an 8mm spanner that looks exactly the same as my own but has the initials "PB" engraved. Nobody at work is PB.

I got refunded £45 from a phone fraud company who had charged me for £18 worth of 'services'
It's now been over a week and they haven't requested the money back so chalking it up as a win.

Unless you gave it to yourself, you're paying for that somehow.

I took £20 out at a cash machine. It gave me £30 in £5 notes.

I checked my online banking and there was only a £20 withdraw recorded.

Topped up my mobile wi-fi dongle and complained when I still didn't have internet, 12 hours later.

Non native English speaking call centre monkey was very apologetic, then topped up my account with 15Gb, instead of the 6Gb I paid for.

Kitchen doors, draws, etc.
Some solar panelled lights for the garden
A fantastic wheelbarrow
Some sketch pads
Misc hobbies and crafts stuff

My work changed HQ and the old building is due to be demolished, so loads of samples had to go and then we took the good stuff.
