I bought a KR1 as a project (running though) and now it seems like it needs an engine rebuild. Have I missed something??? This is what happened and what I did...
Idle tickover was a bit up and down so i fitted new plugs (the right ones obviously) took it for a run and about 2 miles later would not rev past 8000 revs as if choke was on, then went onto 1 cyclinder, pulled over, the bike stalled and petrol and oil came out of the overflow pipes, still kicked over but wouldn't run properly.
Bought it home and adjusted the oil cable as it was slightly out but now won;t start at all...

HELP!!! Any ideas???

Debris in fuel tank, carb float heights not correct, blocked jets in carb?
Split rubbers from air filter to carb?
Choke mechanism damaged?

Some food for thought.

Are you 100% it's coming out of the overflow pipes?
