My son's Lemoto Tornado scooter has a petrol leak it's leaking on the hole in the part in the photo. But i have no idea what this is? Some sort of pressure release I guess?! As it doesn't seem to do anything as one pipe going into it and that is all. It is at the lowest point possible on the engine.

Perhaps it's just there to anchor an overspill hose in a specific place (so if it does overspill, it doesn't do it onto a hot exhaust, for example).

Find what the other end of the hose is attached to and I suspect you will be closer to your answer.
