I have a Kawasaki KR-1. (250cc 2 stroke 2 cylinder sports bike). I have two wires (bk/y ad bk) with a funny looking connector on the end which according to the manual is supposed to go to the "starter lockout switch" or "starter inter lock switch"... I can find it in the schematics in the manual but I have no idea where or what it actualy is on the bike.

The bike seems to start OK without it so I don't know if it's important or not.

The KR can have a kickstart as well, so it may be something to do with this, I'd ignore it if it all works ok Smile.

Could well be:

Kill switch
Sidestand switch
Clutch switch
Kickstart switch

As G says, if it works, ignore it. If it bothers you and you feel you don't need it, take the switch out and permanently connect or disconnect the wires, whichever way makes it run.
