Another here who has had a wasp helmet indecent. I was riding with my visor up through town when the little fooker tried to come head on in to the bridge of my nose. Fortunately I dodged it but it got caught between the two parts of the lining on my helmet and my head. Even more fortunate was that the bastard was the wrong way round to sting me. I think that was the fastest I have stopped and removed my helmet in my life. I don't think I rode with my visor up for the rest of that summer Smile

There were loads of the cockchafers at my now wife's Uni (Brunel Bunnymede) one year when she was there. Loads of rumours that they lay there eggs in long hair soon had the girls (and some boys) all running round screaming.
