I know you can ride to a pre-booked MOT but what are the constraints around that? If I drop my bike at the garage tomorrow for an MOT booked for Wednesday is that permissable?
Slightly paranoid about this one as I picked up 6 points and a whacking great fine for an IN10 in my youth and don't want another one! Would have been cheaper to be caught drink driving |

The only thing it allows you to do is to ride without VED. The bike must be insured (check that your cover isn't conditional on it having a current MOT if yours has expired) and roadworthy.

Given that we're only talking about VED here, I think you'll be fine. On the teeny tiny chance that you're tugged or ANPR pinged, sod off any FPN, go not guilty, and get the garage to say that it was booked in. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
