Has he? He's tried to change his tune but for every pro brexit statement he makes there are 100 revealing his true feelings on the matter. He's completely f**ked now, Lib Dem f**ked. Had he stuck to his principles (amazing how politicians still don't get this) he'd be the leading anti-brexit party, instead it's left to the lib dems to hope no one remembers what happened just a few short years ago.

I think she's learnt the lesson from Gordan Brown, he went from responsibly popular to GTFO during his time in charge, and decided against calling a snap election when the polls were in his favour.

Absolutely deranged. The best thing he could do for his party would be to die in a tragic allotment accident on the eve of the election.

The only way I can see to avoid a huge Tory majority government would be for all the opposition parties to agree to field a single candidate in each remotely marginal constituency. And even at that, I doubt they could actually stop folk running as "Continuity Labour" or similar. "Literal Democrat" has already been done.

I'm half delighted at the lulz, and half horrified at the prospect of a staunchly pro-globalist pro-immigration pro-EU authoritarian harridan being given 5 years of unfettered power. You ain't no Maggie, sis.

They were the alternative vote, in particular a lot of young people voted for them (IIRC they said they would scrap tuition fees). To then get into a coalition government and go back on their manifesto was a very bad move, they were basically the Tories bitch until Cameron tossed their battered semen stained body out a moving car.

But people do have short memories...

I'm not the one who's A-OK with being snooped on, having a dossier built against absolutely everyone, having workers rights eroded in the workplace, and having a strawman to point at in the shape of every single immigrant in the country, no matter how much they've contributed. Most are low earners, so take more in tax credits and benefits than they pay back in tax. The over supply of labour also push down wages and they also export cash out of the economy. But, hey, nothing to do with uncontrolled immigration, oh no.

I don't think any other Tory would be as much for clamping down on the rights as she is. Funny though, the Tories are less 'Nanny State', but all the privacy clampdowns in cahoots with the epic clampdown on driving offences... Are you sure?

Who would you have instead negotiating Brexit? I'm not voting for her but that's mainly cos I could never vote Tory, and I don't run to the polls like everything's alright because of a token democratic gesture (the EU referendum was a one off). That reminds me how do you get off the electoral roll?
