My lad in the midlands still had
the Yiying Tommy ( cheap shitter) scoot gathering dust in the garage.
Its the one on the right

AS his doing anything looked doubtful I brought it back here.
Initial inpection shows its incomplete and somewhat bodged together
to appear otherwise.
Initial buy list was cylinder cooling ducts, oil, plug, battery, mainstand
rear tyre, exhaust stud
It wouldn't run at first which was as well considering the lack of cooling ducts
which prevented someone riding it like that and fooking it up.
This was due to someone adjusting valve clearances on the wrong stroke
Engine out to clean up then fit exhaust stud and ducting

Its a 2010 bike but only done 4000 miles so hopefully some, life left in it
Cam chain and valves checked and adjusted

Cowling on and red paint used for max speed

Lots of the 101 little things one has to do on a fix up
checking cleaning derusting etc
Impact driver handy for back wheel nut and CVT nuts
https://imgur.com/cOhdrrN.jpg
Engine back in and red paint ( its all I had) generously applied
for even more speed

A fair few bits missing so I rather than buy, I cheaped out and
decided to make the missing hugger out of an old fuel can
using themoplasticweldery magic, hot heat, gloves snips,
effing and blinding and paint

Found some poundshop black !

The new rear tyre, bought in mainstand and footpegs are
fitted and it's running
Sound oretty good.
It starts easily, it's quiet, no rattles or smoke charging system AOK
All electricals function so wiring to check over and tidy then start plastic panel assembly.
No sissy bars or rack, local ironmongers good for missing fixings

More missing stuff under the seat so improvise battery securing and make splash cover from old milk carton
Did I say I was cheap bastard?

You still here?
OK
Front end checked lots of minor fettling so now
mostly assembled and ready for the MOT.
Gave it a 'turbo' panel for speed (obviously)

Got it MOT'd today, whoo hoo!
Only advisory was the front wheel bearings 'slightly rough'
Had a larf riding it to and from the test station, the stand scraped easily on corners
so couldn't fling it about too much. Good fun though
While it was good enough for the MOT, I reckoned the front disc brake was crap compared to the rear drum brake
so that needs looking at.
I think the carb needs some fine tuning as it feels slightly off somehow.
Wolf badge added cos bad ass biker dude innit?
Just been informed the lad has just taxed it
I'm off shopping, where's me string backed driving gloves and peaked helmet?
