All this talk of 'wrap money'.
It's cheaper than paint. The last bit I bought was 1500mm x 600mm and it was 9 quid.

Is it though? If you fuck up with paint, rub it down and respray. If you fuck up wrap, isn't that the end? New piece needed.

This is where the idea came from. A weekend in the sun putting in on and probably a few kicked down walls trying to get the bubbles out but figured it's cheaper than a spray job?!

Appreciate all the replies. The idea was a cheap and quick fix to sort the previous newbies scrapes and dings and then the money saved on the bike cause of condition could let me upgrade little goodies like forks.

But thinking about it, i'm probably going to drop it anyway so will be a waste of time Laughing Rolling Eyes

That's why I bought 9 quids worth. If I was certain I could do it perfect I could have managed with under a third of that.
Also I'd rather peel off a piece of plastic (20 secs) and ready to go again than spend hours of effort rubbing anything down.
Besides isn't badly applied paint wasted money as well? Thinking Or have you found some way to reapply it after rubbing it off? Laughing
