This was along with half life was my the most important in my formative PC Gaming years.

I still remember when I bought it. I was probably ~12. We where in PC world because I had £25 to spend and I was going to look at the games.

I picked up Starcraft I saw the price was £25, I looked at the back cover and remember my brain exploding thinking "this looks like the best thing ever."

My Dad must have seen me looking at it with a grin on my face. I turned to him and said I wanted that one, he said "are you sure?" "Yes", "Are you sure you don't want THIS!"

He showed me the Starcraft BATTLE CHEST!

My brain exploded again, I asked how much and it was £30 I remember feeling deflated, "I only have £25" "Don't worry we'll get this one" I was ecstatic it is just a strong memory as to how happy I was. AND the game was amazing too Laughing
