If its a mechanical issue you could try one of those compressed air spray cans around and in the mechanism, It might be dust / crap issues.

If its software or "cheap chinese copy" issues - you might need a new one.

Have you got the correct drivers for the mouse, or has there been a update for it recently, if it was using a generic driver previously things may have changed.

Funny i'm getting this as well, only get it on chrome though.
closing the tab & opening a new one sorts it out.

I took it back to poundland with the receipt and got another. New one works fine now, obviously a faulty mouse. Thanks everyone.

How much was it?

I also got this issue a several days ago, now being alright. Chrome on W7.

Worth noting my mouse is 100% alright. It's a software (Chrome) issue.

Chrome is a RAM hog. It eats it alive. My money is on Chrome being the issue.
These days, I'm trying Opera and it's never missed a beat... so far. Whereas Chrome used to hang like buggery, and Firefox developed issues with plug-ins which I couldn't be bothered to diagnose. I only have 8gb of DDR3 RAM though, so that could be a contributing factor.

Not necessarily, it's a software issue, not hardware. Yesterday, I was browsing the BCF and my mouse wheel wouldn't scroll the page. I opened the tab again and it worked. There's something going on with either the BCF or Chrome.

It's just Korn's keylogger and mouse event capturer JavaScript. Nothing to be afraid of. Of course.

That actually works, mega! never knew that.

Paddy I know what you are saying but it lights up red and everything. I have gotten some good computer bits from poundland.

Speakers
Keyboard
Mouse
Kettle lead for power supply

It's just as good as my lads Razor mouse which is horrid to use as it gives you finger ache and is the most uncomfortable mouse ever.

Another top tip, press ctrl+w to hear a swear word! Thumbs Up
