Hi there , I've got a k7 suzuki gsx1400
Doing my checks on suspension
Upon setting everything to standard I've gone by the book and wound the rebound damping screw to the standard setting
The left fork has an adjustment of 12 clicks . From all the way in to all the way out . The right fork has an adjustment of 28 clicks from all way in to all way out??? . At standard 8 clicks out the left fork screw is around 3mm above pre load bolt and right fork screw is 3mm inside pre load bolt ...
Any ideas guys?

Yeah some dickhead has stripped the forks and not timed the adjuster screws up properly when refitting the fork tops to the damper rod.

You'll need a parts list to identify the bits required but be warned, a full cap assembly for my 1100 was £120.
