Well, you were hatched and not born, so anything is possible?

I meant the bit about him being an immigrant and patron saint of a dozen other countries, donk.

There was a St Georges Day thread at the top of this very section before you posted your low quality bait, hence your thread is redundant.

According to the Orthodox Greeks.

Saint George was the son of a rich and aristocratic family in Cappadocia, (part of modern day Turkey).

George’s encounter with the dragon.
The dragon was guarding a spring in Libya and it wouldn’t let the residents take any water if they didn’t first sacrifice one of their compatriots. The victim was chosen by drawing lots. One day, this happened to be the princess. The monarch begged for her life to be spared, but to no avail. She was offered to the dragon, but then Saint George appeared and faced the dragon, protecting himself with the sign of the Cross. He slayed the dragon, and rescued the princess. The citizens abandoned their ancestral paganism and converted to Christianity.

HTH!

Link to the said thread or your post is BS. There is no thread with "St. George" in the title here in this forum today except mine.

True, I know English is not your first language so we'll forgive that little faux pas.

It claims to live in the UK and threatened to leave if we voted for Brexit.

Yup - Saint George or whatever his full name is un anglicised.

I do not believe anyone has ever claimed he walked upon these clouded hills - unlike grown up lord baby Jesus

Good call - Jesus as the patron saint of England and Jerusalem as the English national anthem. That ought ruffle a few PC feathers. Thumbs Up

Top trumps from a patron saint perspective. Even the Italians cannot match that and they invented Christianity Twisted Evil

I do have bnp72 enemied. He is my only enemy in any forum in all the interweb.

I mean I've pretty thick skin, but the level of ignorance and smelly BS comimg from him is just a little too much for me.

The guy is a ginormous cockwomble and a general tosser and a major shithead.

I hope he reads that and also makes me his enemy and finally stops commenting on my posts Thumbs Up

And happy St George's day as well.
