Looking for a new helmet after my Nitro has finally started falling to pieces, budget of £150 and I'd like to have the option of a tinted visor as I really don't get on with internal ones. I've short listed to these:

https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/237398

https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/197397

https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/85251

https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/107134

All of these are best sellers on this site, which seems to be the cheapest, they also do free returns so I can send it back if it doesn't fit.

Any ideas which would be the best? I'm nearest to buying the Shark at the moment. Karma

This ^^ you need to go to a shop and try them and see which fits best, then you can order online like everyone else.

although I don't know what he's banging on about here, I use my tinted visor for sun protection

I'm aware I should probably try them on first to save the hassle of sending them back, but there's no shops near me so cba travelling.

Will just send back if it doesn't fit.

How many do you fancy sending back?

It's much less hassle to head somewhere with a large selection and try lots on than it is to keep ordering single lids and sending them back.

Doesn't that get expensive? I've bought alternative linings, my Nitro was too big so I found another lid for £20 on eBay and used that. Similarly I bought a Bell that was too small (shows how easy it's to guess helmet sizes) and I found a company selling separate linings (again about £20). I guess it makes more sense if you find a lid in a sale etc.

Sportsbikeshop have free returns so I could in theory order them all and return the ones I don't want like Vice said.

I've ordered the Shark S900 so hopefully it will fit. Smile

I do this fairly often if I'm not sure on sizing, order both and return one

I have that surprisingly bought about 5 years ago so been on the go a while.
I'd say it fits kind of tight if anything but all heads are different.
No problems with it though.

Odd thing to say for someone who rides all year round.
