hi im new to the forum and looking for some advice i purchased a ybr 125 2006 carbed model that broke down on a friend of mine however when it was parked waiting to be picked up some little scrotes tried to steal it causing a whole heap of a mess to the wiring now i will tell u at some point this bike will be back on the road with a brand new loom fitted but for the time being im wanting to get the motor turned over so could anyone please give me some info on the wiring configuration i would need to do this i have a haines manual and some other diagrams but nothing specific for the setup im wanting any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance

Hi

Do you just mean turning over, or running? Just cranking over is easy, running will depend on the bike, but probably fairly simple (crude ignition systems self generate and run easily, and earth out the ignition to stop running).

Depending on the mess of the wiring it should be possible to (crudely) repair it.

Hi i should of been a little clearer with this i want to get the engine running with a basic cafe racer sort of wiring loom no electrics what so ever will need to start the bike as it has a kick start and when it comes time to put it on the road im ordering a while new loim as ive chopped into this one for the nessary parts cdi coil

Scan in the wiring diagram. Open it in paint/similar. Erase the redundant wires. What's left is your basic loom.
