Hi all,

Got a bit of a problem with my 2007 Yamaha YBR 125. Not long after picking it up I started having problems with it where it would sometimes not start (more commonly when out in the sun). I put it in the garage for the winter and coming back to it this spring I'm getting the EML light flashing with error code 46 - according to Yamaha this means a problem with the power supply to the fuel pump. The fuel pump whirr when turning the ignition on had also stopped. We replaced the fuel pump taking advice from various internet sources and now the fuel pump whirr is back (so that seems to be working!) but the bike still won't start and I have the same error code still. Obviously having been garaged and not started for a long period would mean it may be difficult to start anyway but even with numerous attempted jump starts I'm not having any luck. The engine seems to turn over ok but won't catch.

Any ideas/help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance 🙂

Not got a multimeter to test but without power from the jump starter there are no lights on the dash so it's completely dead!

Charge battery, borrow multimeter, report back.

Also - This should be in the Workshop.

Yup, buy multimeter, then don't ever post a Workshop thread in General Bike Chat again.

Ever.

Ste-Mod will not tolerate it.
