I am currently restoring this bike and I'm at a loss as to what to do about the rear shock. In an ideal world I would buy a brand new after market one but I feel that £300 is a bit too much for a bike I'm going to sell once I've finished restoring it.
Does anyone know if a shock from another bike would fit? or am I better off just cleaning it the best I can and maybe get the spring powder coated?
The bike is going to end up looking better than new and I don't want the look ruined by a scabby old shock.
