Hi all

I'm new to the forum and have only had my bike 1 year

It's a Suzuki 125 and I spoke to the people who I got it from and from another mechanic who said that fitting a POD filter on to the carb would not need a re-jet as everything else is standard on the bike so the other day I got up the courage to do it

Now I'm just paranoid that it's going to be running lean however I've took her out about 5 times and she's actually running and idling beautifully with seemingly no problems. I've noticed a split second hesitation in 4th but that was also there with the air box

What should I be looking for to check if it's lean and any advice would be great. I personally feel she runs smoother with the pod and is more responsive when the throttle is cracked up than she was before but would appreciate some advice

Remove plug, inspect it!

Black - dark brown =rich
Light grey - white = lean
Light tan - biscuit = spot on
