Anyone up for it? Its basically a tour of the factory and a bit of a museumy thing with lots of free chocolate.

Cost is about £10 and the place is just south of Birmingham.

I wouldn't bother with Cadbury World itself - I wouldn't recommend anybody spend any money on the 'tour' - even the free chocolate only amounted to 2 or 3 bars of aero/ crunchies etc

The tour consisted of a walk round the back passages of the factory - the only chocolate we got to see at the time was bars of wholenut getting wrapped - oh, and the one-tonne solid lump that made it into the guinnes book of records.

Definately left the site feeling let down and completely underwhelmed. It also looked like they hadn't spent any money on developing the tour/ show pieces in the last 20 years.

Wow, Cadbury's world must be shite if they have resorted to giving away Nestle Aero Chocolate bars instead! Laughing

I used to live about 1 mile from it and never felt the urge to go. Not really a fan of chocolate anyway so will give it a miss.

You get 6 bars actually, and besides, that's not the point. It's an interesting day out and don't forget there is the shop where you can buy a massive bag of milk tray rejects for £3 Very Happy

Why is everyone being so negative about it? Where would people prefer to go instead?

Ooo i'll go! Cadbury World is one of my many places that i must visit just to get the delicious, chocolatey, freebie goodness! Razz

Next on my list is Ben & Jerry World, although thats in America somewhere, so that one might have to wait a year or two Sad

Anywho, when were people planning to go to Cadbury world??

Exactly, I like the way ppl advertise things which cost something and say, you get a FREE so and so. Like the new KIA something or other, only £14,999 with a FREE DVD player....riiiight Confused If the tour is apparently no good, then it's not worth the £10 just for the chocolate.
