Finally got a ps5, wasted no time jumping right in!
Finished and got the platinum trophy for astro playroom and the new ratchet and clank game.
Almost got 100 percent on dirt 5 bar 1 or 2 trophies which I'm working on.
On ps4 I'm about half way through assassin's creed valhalla which I'm taking my time with. It's a good game but it's got some fps issues on last gen consoles.
Spent the vast majority of time over the last 2 or 3 months playing ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE. Put around 200 hours into it and loving every minute. Trying to do all quests on my first character and after all the time I've played it I'm still not close to finishing the base game, never mind the endless amount of dlcs it has. This game is huge.

It's genuinely a good game, I enjoyed it, even got the platinum trophy. Razz

Me too. I like the way it makes good use of the haptic feedback on the controller.
I haven't played any other ps5 games yet but I have installed a few ps4 games and you can definitely tell the difference in terms of clarity between the two.

I started this a few days ago. I'm enjoying it as much as, if not more than Mad Max. Good times.

My inner nerd is smiling...reminiscing of playing Skyrim the first time.
What a game....and another I've yet to finish....well after binging games since pong I now have a balance of sorts and RSI that is manageable.

RD2 and that last Tomb Raider (PC).

I did go full on gamermode when TT game dropped. Top40 for a brief moment. Want that on my headstone please.

I want to like the Red Dead franchise, I really do.

Played RD2 online with my GTA crew, and I thought, wow - this looks great. Then I was bored. I really want to like it, but it is not for me. I just got bored.

Though to be fair, it is better than Elder Scrolls Online, which I think is dire, and I wanted to like.

I agree totally with the Red Dead comment.
In theory I should have been hooked but I wasn't.
In the words of Mr Daltrey, I can't explain.

I like RDO so far (103 hours in) but the cost of the roles that give you "stuff" to do I find irritating. Just make the game cost more upfront, getting me to grind for 25 gold bars or pay cash for it (and there are many to buy) after buying the game is irritating. I don't even mind paying for extra shit in games but with RDO it feels like the base game you buy is crap unless you spend right away (or grind like crazy).

I absolutely loved RDR2, completed the game and I'd happily just ride around in the world. Haven't even tried online though, think the grind would annoy me.

I've spent the last week or so playing the latest build of GPBikes by PiBoSo. Ridiculously difficult, setting it up is a PITA, have to manually install all the bikes/tracks/mods, adding in antivirus exclusions and all sorts. Graphics are pretty rubbish.

Still the best motorcycle sim though. Mini bikes are hilarious.

Quake (PS5/PS4; remastered) - 9/10

I just could not resist. It's the good old Quake with buttery smooth frame rate and many optional graphical upgrades. If you don't like modern technologies, you can still make the game look just as it did in the 90's if you want. You can even run it in low res. mode which takes it from 4K to, well I can't even guess. I run it in the high res. mode with all the upgrades turned on. There's stuff like AA, ambient occlusion, motion blur, enhanced models, fog, dynamic shadows, texture smootehing,... to name a few.

There's also something that I have never seen/used before in any game. They call it ''motion aiming'' and you pretty much use the motion sensor in the controller to aim, while you still can use the right thumbstick. I don't quite like it, but I can see the benefits for those who will master this feature. It really makes the aiming close to what you could do with a PC mouse, very quick and very precise, which is not a standard in console FPS games, where you only use the right thumbstick to aim.

Anyway, a nice blast from the past. I hope they'll remaster Quake II as well, which is my favourite one in the series.

I'm playing 'Blood: Fresh Supply' which is a modern remake of the classic FPS 'Blood'. It's great fun. Good atmosphere, great weapons and fiendish difficulty.

I've also played a bit of Cobra Kai: The Karate kid saga continues. It was on offer for a few quid, and I liked Cobra Kai the series, so I thought I'd get it. It's OK for the money but I'd be annoyed if I paid full price. it's like a not as good version of Streets Of Rage but with more 3D.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Days Gone is done*! Easily makes my top 5.

*or is it? The main story is finished but the game still seems to be chucking up little missions and challenges.
