Interesting contribution by RJ: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSprQgt1Qg8

Outside of the death trap a breath of fresh air can be breathed knowing half-term is over.

And it's almost happened again, same time of day, same location in Tottenham, where Monument Way turns into Watermead Way at the junction with The Hale. (October 2017 was last time.)

I was going home from central London on my (fourth) SH300, going down Monument Way, when I noticed two bikes up ahead crossing the road, left to right, at the pedestrian crossing half way down - all the way across the road at right angles to the traffic, from pavement to pavement. The lead rider got into a verbal altercation with a pedestrian at the crossing, so I had a chance to look a bit closer at him - flip-up helmet, balaclava, a bit small for the bike, on the pavement, all the signs of a thief. But they disappeared into the estate and I continued down, hoping they hadn't seen me, but alert to the risk they'd come back around.

The traffic was clogged up at the junction lights and I had to pause. Next thing I know there's a bike coming at me from the traffic island to my right - just as the traffic loosened up a bit.

I didn't hesitate - I took off, I filtered like my life depended on it, hoped nobody was turning right into the station or where Maplin used to be, overtook everything, until I was on the long straight on Watermead Way headed north, when I noticed the headlights - they were still following, but I had a good 15 second lead - not a huge amount for a 280cc engine vs whatever they were riding, and the wrong kind of road to let me build up a bigger gap.

I was followed all the way through until the junction between Watermead Way and Leeside Road, where the left turn goes over the bridge and ahead, the right turn goes into Tesco and Ikea. The lights were red, and there were two other bikes waiting, one of them a TNT courier, along with lots of cars. I figured it would be as good a place as any to make my stand. I stopped just in front of one of the cars (to prevent them just driving off, like they did last time) and beside the courier, to make us look like we were together.

About 5 seconds or so later, the along come the scrotes on their bike, and pull around in front of both of us, cutting off the route ahead. I gripped my key, knowing that's what their first target is, and stared at them, when the courier turned his head to me, and I pointed at them, saying "thieves". Got a decent look at the areas around their eyes not covered by balaclavas - they looked almost identical, both of them about 15, black males, both physically small. They sized up the situation, and within a few seconds, the light turned green, they proceeded west over the bridge on Leeside Road, while the rest of us went ahead. I stared over my shoulder as they rode off, making certain they weren't doubling back, and they were staring back at me.

I made good progress back home, made a report to the police (but what is it? a threat? That's what I said it was), and now I'm trying to unwind again.

Is that a regular route for you? At least you know how to find them again should you feel the need.

Sajid Javid looks to be a better call, since 70% of Met funding is from the Home Office.

I saw that elsewhere - Traffic warden apparently. Much as I hate the ticket twunts, these little shits have no boundaries and do what they want, an need to be show there are consequences. Robbery and GBH, give the little fuck a few years to think about things while they're getting their arsehole widened inside.

They all need to be killed. It's the only solution.

Scientific tests have shown that scummy little shitbags like the ones in the video commit less crime after they've been killed.

Shitbags of all ages and sizes also need to be killed.

There would be a dramatic decrease in the number of criminals who offend for a second time. Thumbs Up

Be interesting to see just how close this gets to the courts.
