Reason I thought it could be an off-roader was the engine crash guards which don't appear to be present on the road-going bikes.

BMW R1200RT according to visordown.

"A video circulating on social media purports to show scooter-riding thieves in the act of stealing a police BMW R1200RT, like one of those pictured above.

It was tweeted by @MotorcycleTheft, an account which regularly shares videos of bike thefts in progress. According to the tweet, it was filmed and originally shared by the culprits.

The exact location is unclear but a reply from a twitter user described as a ‘police biker’ said the BMW was parked and unattended, with the key removed from the ignition, when the moped thieves pushed it away. It was 'recovered a short time later', according to the tweet."

But visordown also say that the tweet said it was recovered, which it didn't.

Tweet wrote:
Ray phill @MotorcycleTheft

Motorcycle thieves stole a Police motorcycle that used to catch them in the first place to show that they don’t give a damm about it & recorded it and take the piss on social media.
Let’s see what happens with this one ☝️ and i hope that the bike has a tracker.

Those do look like the crash bars from the pictured RTs.

Of course, determing exactly which model of police bike was stolen is the critical point here. Whistle

Visordown said a reply from a twitter person described as a ‘police biker’. Wink

Traffic Mouse‏
@Protectamouse

Replying to @MotorcycleTheft
To clarify, the thieves took a Police Motorcycle that was parked up at a Location. no keys in the ignition. They pushed it away and then rode off using another moped to move it. Exactly as they do with lots of bikes. The police Motorcycle was recovered a short time later.

True. I could go into whether the account is credible etc, but without going and checking (which I cant be bothered to do right now) I'd probably be wrong.

Rogerborg - also true, but why not? It's not likely that we're going to identify the riders.

Which link? The link that was provided after I'd commented on the link to the BBC article that didn't report his name?

Should I also predict what you're going to post in the future? It will be... [holds fingers to temples]... something inaccurate but tetchy.

I like you but, damn, you can be a cantankerous bastard at times. How was my post confusing? I literally pointed out that the first two words in the link you quoted were his name.

Am I supposed to know that things changed in between my visits?

I also can see the future and predict another down-voted post.

How many fucking times, I keep it clean because BCF is a family website, not because I'll lose karma for swearytalk, you cunt.

You know, it's been a while since I actually eyeballzed Rainpal®.internets rather than just looking at the diffs. I looked today. Just wow.

It Reads Like A Mongtard Wrote It Which Is Surprising As The Adams Are So Clevers But Why Do They Never Use A Period Except In Ellipses........

What's a "!2V Connection"? I'd certainly be surprised if I were only getting 2V out of my bike.

Does Logical Adam really not see the issue with saying that Rainpal® is in the top 5% of scam sites on Shopify before you can actually "shop" for it?

I wonder what the ROI is for Adam's autie-shuffling of meaningless babbletext. I mean, who's going to give him money because he's gone rainbow?

I can't look at the Rainpal®.internets without being redirected to Google. Crying or Very sad
