Hi, I just wanted to get an idea of how many Daytona owners are on here as I want to get a Daytona meet organised, so say hello give a rough location and chuck up a pic? Be good to get to know people.

I'm from ashford in Kent, and I'll try and load a pic shortly

Seems a bit odd to restrict a rideout to one make, and to put the proposal in 'general bike chat' when you could easily do it in a regional forum. Also seems odd not to do it on a Triumph or 675 specific forum.

My gut tells me it probably won't do a lot, but knock yourself out.

Yea, I'm putting it on the Daytona forum and facebook too, just wondered if I might reach a couple of other riders on here perhaps.

Half the fun of bike meets is poking around at other makes/models, no?

I'm in Essex, just about.

If I'm available and it's convenient, I'd probably show up but can't commit to anything.

Why is your bike hiding in a buttercup field?

Probably preferable to someone's front garden.

Looks awesome pig hog.

I had the first model of 675 when it came out, took it to the Stelvio Pass. Loved the bike but just was a wee bit small for my overly large and round physique. I wish they now made a Daytona 1000, not really for the bigger engine, just so that the bike would be bigger.

Yes that too, but there will still be loads of other bikes there. I'd just like to see lots of 675's together is all...

And buells are great so yes please do turn up Smile
