Thank you though Paddy
Any idea what the issue with the exhaust is? Can water get inside the can- I would have thought with the extreme heat it would have all just evaporated so it wouldn't be a big deal?
Is black soot also normal on the inside of end can?

Not if you stick a jet wash down it

It evaporates then condenses again, rotting the exhaust from the inside out. As that happens it migrates to the engine where it starts rusting inside till it all falls apart on the motorway.

My 4 year old nephew stuck a hosepipe down my Bandit can. Laughing
He loved helping me clean my bike and asked "where do I spray it?" and I said "everywhere".
Before I knew it, he was giving my bike an enema.
Thankfully it was only running off the water mains, but for all I know this may be why I now have to constantly have to empty water from my drainbox hose so frequently. Thinking
